Start with a free hour.

Every new matter begins with a free one-hour consultation. We will talk through what is going on, I will ask questions, and I will tell you honestly whether I can help. There is no charge and no obligation.

What to expect

Before we talk

If you have them handy, gather the documents that matter to your situation: your child's current IEP or 504 plan, recent evaluations, letters or emails from the school or agency, and any complaint or decision you have received. Do not worry if you do not have everything. We can start with what you know.

During the consultation

You tell me what has happened and what you want to change. I ask the questions I need to understand where things stand. By the end of the hour, you will have a clear picture of your options and whether I am the right person to help.

After

If we decide to work together, I will explain how I bill for your matter and put it in writing before any work begins. No surprises. If I am not the right fit, I will do my best to point you toward resources that are.
